Supplies You’ll Need
• 1 hula hoop

• Faux flowers
• 1 roll of fishing wire
• Scissors
• Wire cutters
Start Crafting Your Floral Wreath
Step 1: Wrapping
First, place the end of your twine on the hula-hoop and secure it with a small dollop of glue. Once the glue has dried, start wrapping the twine all the way around the hoop until it’s completely covered up. Secure the loose end with glue.
Step 2: Arrangement
Start arranging your greenery and garland by wrapping it around your hoop. Once you’re happy with the placement secure it in place with your zip tie or floral wire. (If you use a zip tie trim any excess plastic.) You can secure your wire with a bit of glue so it doesn’t budge!
Step 3: Flowers
You can choose to only use greenery for your wreath or you can choose to add lights or flowers as well.
This is why crafting a floral wreath yourself is so great – you can personalize every detail to suit your needs! For this tutorial we used our silk rose flowers for a pop of color.
First cut and arrange your flowers, just as we did with the garland. You’ll want to place them around your floral wreath until you’re satisfied with how it looks. Once you’re happy with your arrangement tie them down with wire and secure with glue.
Step 4: Hang
Once all of the materials are placed onto the wreath you’re practically done with this craft! All you have left to do is cut the fishing wire to your desired length. Tie the fishing wire to your wreath and hang via the best method for your space. (As usual, we suggest a little bit of glue to secure the wire in place.)
TA-DA!
Now that your floral wreath is done! You can hang it anywhere or use it to decorate a sweetheart table, dessert table, photo booth, or wedding arch. The possibilities are endless! We’re excited to see how you use this DIY to create your own floral wreath. We hope you found this tutorial helpful so you can have the latest trends even while on a budget!
