Napkins Incorporated to Enhance the Wedding Theme
Having the right table linens will make or break a wedding’s atmosphere. Take the time to consider all of the details that can make your tables and your reception look very well-designed and put together. One of the biggest ways to enhance the details on your decor elements is to pay attention to your napkins.
Colors and Patterns
There are many different patterns and colors available for napkins. Choose a napkin that will coordinate well with the colors or theme of your wedding. If you’re unsure where to start, we offer a popular lamour satin napkin that carries a matte and sheen finish on a heavier cloth, consequently perfect for use at all types of events.
We also carry plain taffeta, regular shiny satin, and polyester napkin options as well as glitz sequin and flocking damask patterned napkins.
Colors in satin, polyester, and lamour satin, as well as our unique diamond-shaped pintuck design, include all the favorite wedding and event colors from aqua blue to black and rich jeweled tones to dazzling whites. Napkin Placement
When using napkin clips or rings it’s traditional to place the napkin across the plate with the clip keeping it secure in a fold. This type of presentation is perfect for a traditional event, and the napkin rings add to the overall look.
For a more modern twist, consider folding the napkins into a band and placing them diagonally across the plate. This is a perfect option with a bright or patterned design on a solid colored plate. Another option, and one which is increasingly popular, is to fold the napkin into a rectangle and place it across the plate. This presentation can be more formal or more casual depending on your choice of table settings and linens.
Last, but not least, you can be creatively fold the napkins into rosettes or simply create the traditional stand-up napkin fold. For this type of display, we recommend the polyester options as they are stiff enough to hold their shape and look terrific on the table.
